Reporting to the Medical Officer of Health, the Director, Stakeholder Relations and Community Engagement is accountable for providing vision, leadership, strategic direction and systems oversight to the department, including managing, evaluating and improving pro-active relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will provide strategic advice to the Medical Officer of Health and Senior Leadership Team in identifying and responding to issues, and to ensure communications and engagement efforts align with priorities, plans and initiatives. You will undertake issues management for sensitive and high risk issues and media inquiries. You will also play a critical role in providing direction on the planning, development, and implementation of strategic and crisis communications.
