Mike is a government relations consultant based in Victoria, BC, with more than 28 years of political and consulting experience at both the federal and provincial levels.
He provides government advocacy, stakeholder relations and corporate communications expertise to clients across a range of sectors including pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, insurance, film and television production, environmental stewardship, book publishing, and vaccine manufacturing.
Mike began his consulting career in 2004 following ten years of political and government experience. In 2005, Mike joined Vancouver-based Pace Group Communications as VP, Public Affairs and in 2012 started his own consulting company, Graphite Public Affairs, in partnership with his wife, Steph.
Graphite has partnered with a number of consulting firms over the years and has maintained a long-standing collaboration with a national network of GR consultants across Canada.
His political experience includes serving in the Office of the Premier of BC as a political aide to the Minister of State for Intergovernmental Relations, and in the Ministry of Health where he worked with the Minister of State for Home and Community Care.
